CEVA in automotive deals CEVA Logistics said its subsidiary AV Manufacturing has consolidated its position as a supplier for General Motors' automotive industrial complex in Gravatai, Brazil, by acquiring the assets of Delphi.
   AVM will be in charge of the subassembly of front suspending structures and back axis of GM's Prisma and Celta cars.
   In another automotive deal, CEVA said it extended for five years a contract with MANN+HUMMEL, a maker of filtration and intake systems in the automobile industry. CEVA said it has operated at MANN+HUMMEL's 17,000-square-meter storage facility in Niederaichbach, Germany, since 2002.
   CEVA also said it has signed a contract for cross docking and national distribution of goods to 360 Caltex convenience stores across Australia.
   CEVA deliver a range of goods, including soft drinks, confectionary and grocery items from cross dock facilities in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth within dedicated delivery windows.
