CEVA makes U.K. investment

Logistics services provider will spend $20 million to upgrade truck fleet.    CEVA Logistics has invested $20 million in U.K. fleet upgrades, adding 180 trailers, 120 tractors and 40 vehicles.
   The new fleet will be in place by the end of the year.
   Michael O’Donoghue, CEVA’s executive vice president of the United Kingdom, Ireland and Nordics, said the investment “signals our optimism in the U.K. marketplace,” while also adding to CEVA’s scale in the region.
   “We’ve also added innovative and creative solutions that will benefit our own operations and our customers’,” he added. “All of the vehicles on order will be fitted with telematics which help us to measure, monitor and continually improve the behavior of our drivers in terms of safety and efficiency.”
