CEVA moves toward eAWB target

The logistics firm completed the fastest conversion rate to electronic air waybills in September.

CEVA is now converting 20.4 percent of all its air waybills into electronic communications, the company said in a press release.
This result, it said, puts CEVA among the e-air waybill leaders, and the company said it achieve the fastest e-air waybill growth of any logistics company in September.
“We are fully committed to the streamlining and modernization of processes in this industry, and with many of our stations still looking to cut over to full eAWB usage before the end of the year, we are well on target to meet the [International Air Transport Association] target of 22 percent by the end of 2014,” Peter Baumgartner, CEVA’s vice president of global air operations and compliance, said in a statement.
