CEVA opens new office in Myanmar

The third-party logistics provider will offer ocean and airfreight services to local and international customers through its One Freight System.    Third-party provider CEVA Logistics will open an office in Yangon, Myanmar as part of its expansion in the Mekong markets.
   The company will provide ocean and airfreight management services to local and international customers using its One Freight System (OFS), which manages freight movements worldwide, CEVA said.
   The office in Myanmar is to be established this month and “presents considerable potential for growth with strong demand for both import and export services,” the 3PL added.
   Imports of industrial materials, consumer goods and machinery are most common in Myanmar, while exports of commodities and agricultural commodities for the retail sector drive outbound trade, according to CEVA.
