CEVA strengthens partnership with Ford

The Netherlands-based third-party logistics provider renewed its contract with and expanded its services for Ford Motor Company at Ford’s Louisville Assembly Plant in Louisville, Ky.    CEVA Logistics renewed and expanded its services to Ford Motor Company at Ford’s Louisville Assembly Plant in Louisville, Ky., the third-party logistics company said.
   Under the agreement, CEVA will provide container management, deconsolidation, metering, sequencing, transportation and inventory control for the plant.
   In addition, the third-party logistics company will boost capacity through the addition of another facility and equipment at Ford’s Louisville Assembly Plant.
   CEVA has served Ford’s Louisville Assembly Plant as a manufacturing support center provider for the last four years.
   In July 2015, CEVA began investing in new facilities in Kansas City and Louisville to support Ford’s Louisville Assembly Plant.
