CEVA UK wins $400m in retail fashion contracts

The third-party logistics provider entered into four, 10-year contracts, under which it will provide warehousing, store deliveries, e-commerce fulfillment, international distribution and 4PL services to four fashion retailers in the United Kingdom.

CEVA Logistics entered into four contract agreements worth a total of $400 million with fashion retailers Coast, Karen Millen, Oasis and Warehouse.
Under the ten-year contracts, which will expire in 2025, the third-party logistics provider said it will provide warehousing, store deliveries, e-commerce fulfillment, international distribution and 4PL services to the four fashion retailers.
CEVA will manage a newly-acquired 25,000-square-meter shared-user facility in Oxfordshire, a southern county in England. The third-party logistics company will handle approximately 20 million units a year across 30,000 stock-keeping units at this semi-automated facility, which handles the processing and storage of garments and fashion accessories.
CEVA will service the fashion retailers’ 752 stores and concessions in the United Kingdom and 29 international markets throughout Europe, the Middle East, Russia, the Far East and Latin America.
In addition, the company will handle customs clearance activity, have 4PL responsibility in North America and Hong Kong, carry out essential end of season de-stocking activity and manage reverse logistics activity and customer returns for the retailers.
For UK fashion retailer Warehouse, CEVA will handle eBay sales and fulfillment operation for the retailer’s end of season stock.
Overall, CEVA will undertake the coordination of approximately 1 million orders each year for the four brands.
