China Ocean Shipping Co. said that it has met representatives of
Evergreen, Kien Hung, Compania Sud Americana de Vapores (Chilean Line), Mitsui O.S.K.
Lines and NYK to discuss rate stability in the China/East Coast of South America trade.
The six ocean carriers belong to a grouping called the East Coast of South
America North China Local Committee.
