China/India service to slow steam
Add another ocean service to the slow-moving brigade.
Research from American Shipper affiliate ComPair Data unearthed that the APL-OOCL China-India Express service will begin slow steaming Wednesday.
The weekly service will move from five to six ships, with average size 4,060 TEUs. The loop connects two ports in South Korea, Tianjin, Qingdao, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Singapore with Colombo and Nhava Sheva, with a call at Port Klang on the return to the Far East.
APL provides five of the ships with OOCL providing the sixth.
