CHINA SHIPPING AND YANG MING PLAN TERMINAL COOPERATION IN LOS ANGELES
China Shipping Group, Yang Ming Marine Transport and Marine Terminals Corp. have signed a letter of intent for terminal cooperation in the port of Los Angeles.
“According to the letter of intent, China Shipping and Yang Ming will combine their respective leased terminals in the port of Los Angeles, and the three parties plan to establish a joint venture terminal operation company,” China Shipping said.
The project is designed to improve terminal operations efficiency, it added.
China Shipping said that this will be the first terminal venture between China Shipping Group and Yang Ming.
