China Shipping deploys second 8,500-TEU ship on Asia/Europe route
China Shipping Container Lines said its second newly built 8,500-TEU containership, the “CSCL Europe,” will be deployed in its Asia/Europe services. The ship was launched on Aug. 28 in China.
The 'CSCL Europe' is the second of five 8,500-TEU vessels in the series. The first one, the “CSCL Asia,” was introduced by China Shipping into its transpacific service in August. The remaining three ships in the series will be completed by the end of the year.
