China Shipping joins discussion agreement

China Shipping joins discussion agreement China Shipping Container Lines in January will become the 15th member of the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement, the Asia-U.S. container shipping discussion agreement.
   China Shipping operates three service strings independently and participates in two other joint services from Asia to the United States. Based in Shanghai, it operates a worldwide fleet of 153 containerships, with an aggregate capacity of nearly 437,000 TEUs.
   China Shipping’s domestic China network links 12 coastal ports plus ports along the Yangtze and Pearl Rivers and their tributaries. Internationally it operates on 40 routes serving Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia, the United States, Northern Europe and the Mediterranean.
   Other TSA members are APL, “K” Line, CMA-CGM, Mediterranean Shipping, COSCO, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Evergreen, N.Y.K. Line, Hanjin, OOCL, Hapag-Lloyd, Yang Ming, Hyundai Merchant Marine and Zim.
