China Shipping renames transpacific link

China Shipping Container Lines’ weekly transpacific “AAS Loop 2” service has been renamed “AAC”. At the same time, calls at Hong Kong have been switched to Xiamen.

A former incarnation of the “AAC” service was ended in June, when the “AAS Loop 2” service was started.

The new “AAC” service uses five ships of approximately 4,100 TEUs and calls Yantian; Xiamen; Shanghai; Ningbo; Qingdao; Hakata; Busan; Los Angeles, Calif.; Vancouver, B.C.; and back to Yantian.
