China Shipping replaces APL as vessel provider on Asia/Europe link

   China Shipping Container Lines is replacing APL as a vessel operator on the weekly Asia/Middle East/Europe/Asia “Sunda Express” service. CMA CGM and Norasia Container Lines are the two other vessel operators on the service.

   The “Sunda Express” service deploys seven vessels of about 2,900 TEUs with CMA CGM operating five, Norasia one and China Shipping now operating the last one.

   The port rotation for the “Sunda Express” service is Le Havre, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Zeebrugge, Damietta, Jeddah, Jakarta, Singapore, Port Kelang, Malta (Marsaxlokk) and back to Le Havre.

   According to ComPair Data, the global liner-shipping database, by joining the “Sunda Express” China Shipping now has seven weekly services in the Asia/Europe trade.
