China Shipping replaces Trieste feeder by direct service    China Shipping Container Lines said Monday a local Mediterranean feeder company has canceled its service between Malta and Trieste, Italy, and will now ship cargoes from the Far East to Trieste direct to Trieste.
   China Shipping takes space on the “Asia Med Pacific” service of Zim Integrated Shipping Services and Norasia Container Lines, which calls direct at the Italian port. Using this service, China Shipping markets a direct service from Busan, Shanghai, Shekou, Hong Kong and Singapore to Haifa, Koper, Venice, Trieste and Piraeus.
   China Shipping’s Asia-Mediterranean “AMX” service will continue to call at the transshipment hub of Malta, according to a recent schedule published by the carrier.
