CHINA SHIPPING REVISES AAS PACIFIC LOOP

The weekly Asia America South service of China Shipping Container Lines has added regular direct calls in Seattle and Hakata, and dropped calls in Pusan.

Starting with the departure from Asia of the “CSCL Hong Kong” on June 12, the new rotation is Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, Yokohama (discharge only), Hakata, Xiamen, Yantian, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles.

Two new 5,390-TEU vessels are entering this service in the second half of June, the “CSCL Kobe” and “CSCL Los Angeles,” China Shipping also confirmed.

“Now that we are sailing directly to Los Angeles after departure from Hong Kong, with Hong Kong/Los Angeles transit time cut to 11 days, we are probably the fastest among all carriers,” a spokesman said.
