China Southern plans for major cargo growth    China Southern Airlines plans to add more than 10 Boeing 747 all-cargo aircraft and double its freight business within a year, Reuters reported.
   The nation's largest air carrier expects to generate 20 percent of its revenue from cargo by the middle of next year compared to 10 percent now.
   The airline's cargo expansion coincides with the scheduled June opening of a new airport in the city of Guangzhou. China Southern is building a large freight terminal at the airport.
   China Southern officials did not disclose the timing of any aircraft acquisitions or whether they would be leased or purchased.
   China Southern's cargo division operates two 747s under wet lease from Atlas Air and will add another next year, Reuters said.
