CHINA’s TEXTILE EXPORT LICENSES TURN BLUE

CHINAÆS TEXTILE EXPORT LICENSES TURN BLUE

China will use an export license with a light blue background to document textiles exported to the United States, starting Jan. 1.

There will be a one month grace period in which importers can use either the new form or the current light green license, but U.S. Customs will only accept the new form for goods that leave China after Jan. 31.

The visa stamp presently in use and the requirements for the Electronic Visa Information System are not changing, U.S. Customs said.
