Chinese Coca-Cola bottlers select Descartes

Chinese Coca-Cola bottlers select Descartes Nine Coca-Cola bottling plants in China have selected routing and scheduling products from Canadian software and services firm Descartes Systems Group Inc.
   Swire Beverages Ltd., parent company of seven Coca-Cola bottling plants in China, together with Beijing Coca-Cola Beverage Co. Ltd. and Shanghai Shen-Mei Beverage & Food Co. Ltd., have all signed enterprise-wide agreements with Descartes.
   Swire has been a Descartes customer for more than four years. 'Our positive experience with Descartes led us to investigate taking a routing and scheduling solution across our enterprise,' said Doug Holland, Swire's general manager of sales operations in China.
   Adam Moore, Descartes' senior vice president, said: 'These Coca-Cola bottlers in China represent some of our most valued customers in the Asia Pacific region.
   'Doug Holland has led the team through an intensive review that has greatly enhanced the solution for the Coca-Cola bottlers.'
