CII, Port of Houston to present container trade conference

Key issues to be covered at the Container Trade Outlook 2015 Conference in Houston, Texas include the Panama Canal expansion, container industry outlook, chassis pools and issues, and U.S. maritime labor concerns.

   The Containerization & Intermodal Institute (CII) and Port of Houston Authority will partner to present their annual Container Trade Outlook 2015 Conference in Houston, Texas Nov. 18.
   Key issues to be covered at the conference, which will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport, include the Panama Canal expansion, container industry outlook, chassis pools and issues, and U.S. maritime labor concerns.
   Manuel E. Benítez, deputy administrator of the Panama Canal Authority, will be the keynote speaker at the one-day event.
