CKYH Asia/Med service cutting capacity

CKYH Asia/Med service cutting capacity    A CKYH Alliance Asia/Mediterranean service will see a roughly 15 percent reduction in capacity by May, according to American Shipper affiliate ComPair Data.
   The MD2 service will soon see its average vessel size drop from 6,504 TEUs to roughly 5,600 TEUs throughout May as the eight ships on the service are switched out for smaller ones.
   Hanjin has supplied all the vessels on the service, but Yang Ming and 'K' Line will each provide four of the new ships entering the service.
   Service length and rotation will remain unchanged, according to ComPair Data. Rotation is Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Yantian, Singapore, Port Said, Ashdod, Genoa, Leghorn, Marseilles, Port Said, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
