CKYHS ALLIANCE DROPS ANTWERP FROM PENDULUM SERVICE

   The carriers of the CKYHS global alliance — COSCO Container Lines, “K” Line, Yang Ming Line, Hanjin Shipping and Senator Lines — are dropping Antwerp as a direct call on their joint weekly north Europe/Mediterranean/Asia/U.S./Asia/Mediterranean/north Europe “PSW1/AES 1” pendulum service. A second call at Rotterdam will replace the call at Antwerp. The service now also omits calls at Valencia.

   The last call at Antwerp on the PSW1/AES1 service was made by “Jupiter Bridge” on Saturday (Aug. 3). The first vessel to incorporate the revised port rotation will be “Tsing Ma Bridge” when it makes its first departure from Rotterdam on Aug. 6.

   The PSW1/AES1 service uses 12 ships averaging 5,588 TEUs. The revised port rotation is now Port Kelang, Singapore, Yantian, Hong Kong, Xiamen, Long Beach, Oakland, Kobe, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Yantian, Port Kelang, Singapore, Port Said, Valencia, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Port Said, Port Kelang, Singapore, Yantian, Hong Kong and Xiamen.

   Senator Lines and CMA CGM take space on this service between Asia and Europe only.
