Clarification: Maersk will continue to serve Halifax
Maersk Line in North America said it will continue to serve the Port of Halifax.
An American Shipper report yesterday noted that the carrier’s schedule indicated that the Nova Scotia port would be dropped from Maersk’s TA4 schedule next month.
But a company spokesperson explained that Maersk plans to continue to call Hailifax with another transatlantic string, giving uninterrupted service. However, the company said it was not yet ready to announce the details on future service to Halifax.
