CLARIFICATION: W.M. STONE & CO. MAINTAINS FORWARDER LICENSE
An April 10 NewsWire item contained information received from the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission on companies whose ocean transportation intermediary licenses had been either revoked or surrendered.
The FMC information did not clarify that W.M. Stone & Co., a Norfolk, Va.-based OTI, voluntarily surrendered the non-vessel-operating common carrier portion of its OTI license, but retained its freight forwarder license.
