CLEARCROSS MERGES WITH ATRION INTERNATIONAL
ClearCross, the New York-based provider of global commerce management solutions, said Thursday it will merge with Atrion International Inc., a developer of online software solutions, based in Reston, Va.
The new company will keep the name ClearCross, and its headquarters will be in Reston. Bruce Johnson, chief executive officer of Atrion, will become CEO of ClearCross.
Richard Giordanella, chairman and CEO of ClearCross, will remain chairman.
With the addition of Atrion, ClearCross will service more than 1,000 clients, several of which the two companies already share — including BP Amoco, Gates Rubber, Schering-Plough and Applied Chemicals.
