CMA CGM said Tuesday it has taken delivery of another ship to be plugged into service on the line's new big ship joint service with Maersk Line between Asia and northern Europe.
The French carrier received the 11,400-TEU CMA CGM Leo, the fifth from an order of 12 such ships from South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries. The remainder will be delivered through 2011.
The ship will be registered in Malta and will join CMA CGM's FAL 5 service, with a rotation of Shanghai, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Port Klang, Le Havre, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, Port Klang, Singapore and Shanghai.
