CMA CGM details rate increases

CMA CGM details rate increases    CMA CGM has released the specifics of its rate increase plans on all major trades.
   On the transpacific, the French carrier said it will “firmly follow the rate restoration quantum implemented by TSA members as from May 1 on the eastbound leg.”
   For other trades, the rates hikes are as follows from April 1:
   ' Westbound rates from Asia to northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Black Sea and northern Africa by $350 per TEU and $700 per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
   ' Eastbound from northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Black Sea and northern Africa to Asia, rates will rise $100 per TEU and $150 per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
   ' Eastbound rates from Europe to the Middle East and Red Sea will rise $50 per TEU and $100 per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
   ' Asia to the East Coast of South America, $500 per TEU and $1,000 per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
   ' East Coast of South America to Asia, $100 per TEU and $200 per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
   ' Asia to the West Coast of South America and Central America, $300 per TEU and $600 per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
   ' West Coast of South America and Central America to Asia, $100 per TEU and $200 per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
   ' Asia to Mexico, Panama and the Caribbean, $200 per TEU and $400 per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
   ' Northern Europe to the East Coast of South America and West Mediterranean to the East Coast of South America, 100 euros ($126) per TEU and 200 euros ($232) per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
   ' East Coast of South America to northern Europe and West Mediterranean, $100 per TEU and $200 per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
   ' Between Northern Europe and the United States, $160 per TEU and $220 per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
   ' India and Pakistan to Europe, $300 per TEU and $600 per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
   ' Europe to India and Pakistan, $50 per TEU and $100 per FEU and 40-foot high-cube container.
