CMA CGM goes it alone on Asia/West Africa service

CMA CGM goes it alone on Asia/West Africa service    CMA CGM has split from vessel sharing partner China Shipping on their joint Asia/West Africa West Africa Express service.
   Instead, Delmas, recently acquired by CMA CGM from the Bollore Group, will take slots on the WAX service and offer space to CMA CGM on its ASAF service in the same trade.
   The WAX service is now operated exclusively by six CMA CGM ships of 1,700 TEUs to 1,850 TEUs. The WAX service had used five ships from CMA CGM and three from China Shipping and had a sailing frequency of every 10 days. The service now has a sailing frequency of every 12 days and a port rotation of Shanghai, Ningbo, Fuzhou, Chiwan, Port Kelang, Durban, Tema, Lome, Cotonou, Abidjan, Colombo, Port Kelang and back to Shanghai.
