CMA CGM Logistics picks CargoWise for U.S. operations

   The logistics technology provider CargoWise said Tuesday that CMA CGM Logistics will use a hosted version of its ediEnterprise product to support the logistics services provider’s U.S. operations.
   CMA CGM Logistics Managing Director Simon Preisler said the ediEnterprise operating system was chosen because of its flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and capacity to support global growth.
   “We are using the hosted version because it’s easy to add extra users locally and globally,” Preisler said. “Once ediEnterprise establishes itself functionally and cost wise in the U.S., we will evaluate rolling it out to our global operations across more than 20 countries.”
   CMA CGM is a subsidiary of the French global liner carrier CMA CGM.
