CMA CGM starting Dunkirk/Morocco service
A delegation from the Port of Dunkirk in France is visiting Casablanca in Morocco to drum up interest for two weekly CMA CGM services starting next month that will cater for temperature controlled cargo.
The port said the services, Agadir Express 1 and 2, will sail from the ports of Agadir and Casablanca with transits times of five and four days, respectively, to Dunkirk.
'The Port of Dunkirk’s specialized facilities will be able to take an active part in the distribution on the European market of fresh produce from Morocco,' the port said.
Marseilles-based CMA CGM earlier this year acquired Morocco state-owned carrier Compagnie Maroccaine de Navigation (Comanav).
