CMA CGM has started a service between eastern Russia and China as it drops out of a slot-buying agreement with FESCO on the same trade, according to American Shipper affiliate ComPair Data.
The French line has started its Russian Far East Express service with a rotation of Chiwan, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Vostochny, Busan and Chiwan. It operates with two vessels with an average capacity of 1,102 TEUs.
Meanwhile, the line’s forward schedules show it has dropped off FESCO’s two-loop FCDL service from this week. CMA CGM called the two loops Korulink and Korulink 3, the latter of which it joined in mid-August.
