CMB did disclose the financial terms of the ship order.
The order includes two options each for two additional vessels. The delivery of the first four vessels is scheduled for 2013, with the others scheduled to arrive in 2014.
The vessel design offers a 30 percent fuel savings, compared to the previous generation. They will also be equipped with a ballast water management system and have flexibility with regards to the types of cargo they will carry, CMB said.
