COLUMBUS APPOINTS BARRAGAN DIRECTOR OF SOUTH SEAS
Columbus Line, an affiliate of the Hamburg-Sud shipping
group, has appointed Michelle Barragan director of South Seas Steamship Line, based in San
Francisco.
South Seas is a newly-acquired subsidiary of Hamburg-Sud.
Barragan was previously assistant vice president, transpacific trade, at P&O Nedlloyd.
She replaces Hans C. Schriwer, who will transfer from South Seas to
Hamburg-Sud Brazil Ltda.
