Con-Way suing Dell for unpaid freight charges    Texas-based Dell has been issued a writ by a Con-way subsidiary alleging the computer manufacturer and retailer hasn’t paid its freight bills, according to a computer news service.
   Con-way Transportation Services, based in Ann Arbor, Mich., filed the case in Texas Western District Court on July 9.
   A subsidiary of San Mateo, Calif.-based Con-way, CWTS said it shipped $42,497.26 worth of goods under a contract it had with Dell, which the computer firm now refuses to pay.
   The suit asks for full payment of the amount claimed due under the contract as well as interest at a rate of 1.5 percent a month. CWTS is also asking for legal and court costs.
