CONTERM, ECU LINE END "CONSPIRACY" SUIT

CONTERM, ECU LINE END “CONSPIRACY” SUIT

   California-based non-vessel-operating common carriers Conterm
International and ECU Line USA said late Tuesday that they have "amicably
resolved" all outstanding legal issues from a lawsuit filed in the Los
Angeles Superior Court.
The suit, filed by Conterm earlier this year, alleged that former
president Peter Gruettner took company secrets with him when he joined ECU.
Both companies said the details of the agreement are covered by a
confidentiality clause and will not be disclosed.
"I’m glad this ordeal is over," Gruettner said. "Now I can focus my
attention on building ECU Line and serving the freight forwarding
community."
