Continental Airlines to begin weekly New York/Aruba flights
Continental Airlines will start a weekly nonstop service between New York and the Caribbean island of Aruba mid-December.
The “Saturday” service will use a Boeing 737-700 aircraft, and is scheduled to make its maiden flight Dec. 17 from La Guardia International Airport, arriving in Aruba same day at 1:20 p.m.
Continental already offers nonstop flights to Aruba from its hubs at Newark Liberty International Airport and Houston.
The La Guardia/Aruba service is pending governmental approval.
