Continental CFO to retire
Continental Airlines said Tuesday that Jeff Misner, the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, has decided to retire effective Aug. 31, following his 55th birthday.
Misner joined the Houston-based airline in 1995 as vice president of treasury operations and was promoted to vice president and treasurer in 2000. He became CFO a year later.
Zane Rowe, Continental’s senior vice president for network strategy, will succeed Misner. Rowe, 37, has been with the company since 1993.
