Continental’s new service will be operated by Boeing 767-200ER aircraft departing Newark daily at 5:30 p.m., arriving in Athens at 10:20 a.m. the next day. The return flight departs Athens daily at 12:20 p.m., arriving at Newark at 4:30 p.m. the same day. Flying times are about 9 hours 50 minutes eastbound and 11:10 westbound.
Athens is the 29th city, and Greece is the 16th country, in Continental’s transatlantic route network.
