''''Allison comes from Sea-Land Service, where he served as operations director of the United Kingdom and Eire. He was also responsible for Sea-Land's port and inland operations in the two countries.

''''Allison will be based at Contship's headquarters in Ipswich, U.K. He also joins the board of directors, succeeding Graham Fraser who took an assignment in Canada.

''''Wheeler was with OOCL (Europe) Ltd., where he spent 11 years. He replaces Paul Stone who has joined Contship's parent company, CP Ships, as human resources director.
