Corporate Express selects Macquarie Goodman for German DC
Corporate Express, a supplier of office products, has chosen Australian industrial property group Macquarie Goodman to develop a customized 470,000-square-foot warehouse in the western German town of Waldlaubersheim.
The new warehouse will be the largest in Corporate Express’ logistics portfolio, and will consolidate the company’s existing distribution network in Germany.
Work on the new facility will begin in the third quarter, with delivery anticipated in the first quarter of 2008.
Macquarie Goodman is part of the Macquarie Bank group of companies, and last year it acquired European warehouse developer Eurinpro International SA for A$597 million ($495 million).
