Corpus Christi to sell Ingleside property

Corpus Christi to sell Ingleside property    Port Corpus Christi Commission on Tuesday voted unanimously to move forward with negotiations to sell the recently acquired Ingleside facility to Corpus Development for $110 million.
   A definitive agreement should be ready to sign at the port commission's Sept. 14 meeting, the Texas port said.
   Corpus Development was one of three finalists that met all the requirements needed to justify the contract.
   The former U.S. Naval Station Ingleside was designated for closure under the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Act, resulting in the departure of the Navy on April 30. Ownership of the base reverted to the Port of Corpus Christi Authority on that date.
