COSCO Americas promotes Marsh, Finkel

   China Ocean Shipping Co.’s (COSCO) Americas subsidiary announced new roles for two of its executives Monday.
   Timothy E. Marsh has been promoted to executive vice president of COSCO Container Lines Americas (CCLA) and will head the liner carrier’s trade division.
   Marsh was formerly vice president responsible for the carrier’s Americas sales division. He will now have responsibility for all marketing, pricing and sales activities, and be accountable for all key performance indicator (KPI) requirements from COSCON relating to trade.
   Howard Finkel, executive vice president of CCLA and vice president of parent company COSCO Americas, Inc. (CAI), will take on responsibilities covering relations with and liaison to industry groups, COSCO customers, stockholders and the general public, representing COSCO at events and conferences. He will also serve as administrator for regulatory, legal and public relations matters.
   In addition, Finkel joins a team headed by CAI President Liu Hanbo to develop new commercial opportunities for the companies.
