The 110,000-deadweight-ton ship is the first of four such vessels being built for COSCO by HHI and will go into service in the weekly Asia/Europe SCX service of the CKYH Alliance — COSCO, “K” Line, Yang Ming and Hanjin Shipping — on Aug. 9 from Tianjin.
The dimension of the vessels in the series are 349 meters (1,145 feet) long, 45.6 meters wide (149.6 feet) with a depth of 27.3 meters (89.6 feet). The laden draught of the ships is 14.5 meters (47.6 feet).
