COSCO Container Lines on Friday said it will hike its eastbound transpacific rates from Sept. 10.
The increases, which apply to origins in the Far East, Southeast Asia, and Indian Subcontinent, are:
- $400 per 20-foot container, $500 per 40-foot container, $563 per 40-foot high-cube container, and $633 per 45-foot container to the U.S. West Coast and intermodal moves to inland points in California, Oregon, and Washington.
- $560 per 20-foot container, $700 per 40-foot container, $788 per 40-foot high-cube container, and $886 per 45-foot container to the U.S. East Coast and intermodal and mini-landbridge destinations outside of California, Oregon, and Washington.
