Xu Lirong, the newly-appointed managing director of
COSCO Container Lines, is still concurrently president of the Shanghai Shipping Exchange,
a spokesman for the Chinese regulatory agency said.
The Shanghai Shipping Exchange said that Xu will remain its president
until a successor has been appointed.
Xu rejoined China Ocean Shipping Co. last month after heading the
Shanghai Shipping Exchange for three years.
