Crane Worldwide opens new facility at Heathrow

The Houston, Texas-based third-party logistics provider moved into a new 34,000-square-foot warehouse and office complex adjacent to the London Heathrow Airport in an effort to enhance its UK market presence.

Crane Worldwide Logistics has opened a new warehouse and office facility adjacent to the London Heathrow Airport in an effort to enhance its market presence in the United Kingdom, the company said in a statement yesterday.
The Houston, Texas-based third-party logistics provider’s new facility measures 34,000 square feet and will offer increased warehouse space, as well as improved e-commerce support, pick and pack, and labeling capabilities.
Jason Stretton, Crane Worldwide country manager for the UK and Ireland, said the company had outgrown its previous facility at Heathrow, and the new warehouse would allow it to offer additional value added services in the future.
“Crane Worldwide Logistics specializes in providing high touch, high value solutions,” he said. “With exciting technological advancements to our systems, a new sales team on board as well as continued growth in our Aberdeen and Manchester operations, we are now well positioned for additional business in the UK market.”
Founded in 2008, Crane Worldwide Logistics has 115 offices in 24 countries globally, including seven offices in the UK.
