Crowley Maritime moves Jacksonville, Fla. distribution center    Crowley Maritime Corp. has moved its Jacksonville, Fla. Distribution center to the Jacksonville International Tradeport business park.
   The new center is about 34,000 square feet, one-third larger than its former facility, and is located near the Jacksonville International Airport with access to the Jacksonville Port Authority’s Talleyrand, Blount Island and Dames Point terminals.
   Logistic service offered by Crowley include cross-docking of domestic trailer cargo into ocean containers, as well as storing and consolidating freight for domestic and international transportation. As a third-party logistics provider, Crowley offers supply chain management and transportation management services including freight forwarding, ocean, inland, and air transportation, customs house brokerage, cargo insurance and warehousing and distribution.
