Crowley names Fox VP corporate services

Crowley names Fox VP corporate services    Crowley Maritime Corp. has appointed Carl Fox as senior vice president of corporate services, effective June 1.
   Fox will continue to work out of the company’s Jacksonville, Fla., office while reporting to Bill Pennella, Crowley’s vice chairman and executive vice president.
   In his new position, Fox will manage several departments, including information technology; corporate communications; human resources; safety, security, quality and environmental; people development and learning; strategic projects; and facilities development and travel.
   Fox, who currently vice president of strategic initiatives and marketing for the company’s liner and logistics units, replaces Susan Rodgers, who will transition to a part-time role where she will focus on leadership development, training and other special projects.
   Fox worked at Crowley from 1987 to 1995 and then served in vice president roles at Sea Star and Navieras. He rejoined Crowley in his current role in October.
