CSAV Norasia starts North Africa loop

Hong Kong-based CSAV Norasia on Monday started a fortnightly service connecting ports in Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya.

The North Africa Service (NAS) uses one ship with a capacity of 1,036 TEUs, the CSAV Atlas, on a port rotation of Port Said, Algiers, Tunis, Al Khums and back to Port Said.

“NAS provides comprehensive connections for cargos from the Far East, Southeast Asia, Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East and North Europe with competitive transit times,” said CSAV Norasia in a statement.

CSAV Norasia is part of the Chilean CSAV Group.
