CSX WORLD TERMINALS CONTRACTS FOR IT SERVICES
CSX World Terminals, the port and terminal operating subsidiary of CSX Corp., has reached agreement with Atos Origin to serve as its primary information technology provider.
The four-year contract initially involves mid-range server hosting and support services provided by Atos Origin's data center in Arlington, Texas.
Atos Origin operates in more than 30 countries and had sales of $2.5 billion in 2000.
CSX World Terminals, based in Charlotte, N.C., operates 16 businesses from 11 ports in Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America and the United States.
