CTSA hikes currency surcharge in November

   The 10 member lines of the Canada Transpacific Stabilization Agreement said Wednesday they are raising currency surcharges effective Nov. 1.

   The new currency adjustment factor will be 4 percent, including from Japan and China. The CAF and has been set at 3 percent for October and was 2 percent in August and 1 percent in September.

   CTSA member lines are APL, COSCO Container Lines, Evergreen, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, 'K' Line, NYK Line, OOCL, Yang Ming and Zim Integrated Shipping Services.
